Seniors, temporospatial adjustments, entastics, nospecific scryings...

Carl Romeo is a Senior Wizard for the New York area. He is tall, broad-shouldered, with fairly short dark hair. He looks to be in his late thirties. He also looks rather like someone out of a cigarette ad, except that he's usually smiling, which the men in cigarette ads rarely do.

Until recently, he also had a rather impressive moustache. He has finally shaved it off, after no small amount of convincing.

He sells commercial time on WNXT in the city, because wizarding doesn't pay the mundane bills, at least, and regular time on the side.

He is partnered with Tom Swale, the other local Senior Wizard, who's an author. They live in Hempstead, with an enormous black-and-white English sheepdog named Annie. They used to keep a parrot named Macchu Picchu, or Peach for short.

Except for the bit where Peach wasn't a parrot, and didn't stick around.
